Canton Public Library Community Room (in person)

Russia’s invasion of Ukraine is dominating headlines around the world. Why is this happening now, and what’s at stake? This talk will cover how we got to where we are, what is important to know about Ukraine & Russia’s relationship, and what the responses have been to this war both in Ukraine and globally.

Dr. Emily Channell-Justice (Harvard Ukrainian Research Institute) and Cris Martin (Davis Center for Russian and Eurasian Studies, Harvard) join us in person to put the war in Ukraine in perspective, provide facts surrounding the ongoing ground war, and address questions of how we got here and how the conflict might end. Channell-Justice and Martin will bring their deep understanding of both Ukraine and Russia to this discussion.
