Markian Dobczansky
Markian Dobczansky is a historian of Ukraine, Russia, and the Soviet Union, with special emphasis on urban history and the transnational Cold War. He received a Ph.D. in Russian/Soviet history from Stanford University and has held fellowships at the University of Toronto and Columbia University. He is currently completing a book manuscript on cultural politics in Soviet Kharkiv and continuing work on a research project on the transnational Ukrainian Cold War.
